Cartridges Feature Leak-Free Mixer Connection

Sulzer Mixpac, a developer of two-component adhesive dispensing systems, has announced the availability of the Q Series 1,500ml cartridges. These adhesive cartridges feature a leak-free mixer connection and self-bleeding Quadro pistons. They are currently available in 1,500ml, 1:1 ratio cartridges. The Q Series style is easy to open and close, fits all common industry dispensers, has a sturdy construction and is pressure tested for safe operation.

These cartridges are available in polypropylene or nylon and in 7/8-9 or 7/8-14 threads. Outlets available for the Q Series style 1,500ml cartridges are side-by-side or cut-off tip. Sulzer Mixpac is focused on developing the line of Mixpac hand-held dispensing products for two-component adhesives and sealants.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
