Densitron TFT Displays For Industrial Devices

Industrial-grade, sunlight-readable TFT displays from Densitron Display Solutions are designed to provide good image quality and power efficiency in industrial device applications. The range of TFT displays is available in 2.2in, 2.7in, 3.5in, 4.3in, 5in, 5.7in and 6.5in. They come with a long-term availability guarantee and touch-screen options. The display range combines high-transmissive panel design and an optical design that makes use of reflective natural light to achieve good image quality and outdoor visibility.

The panels are capable of maintaining the same bright whiteness in both reflective and transmissive modes, ensuring clear display of text and graphics in different environmental conditions. Densitron claimed its sunlight-readable TFT displays have up to 30 per cent higher aperture ratio than modules produced with traditional technologies, and therefore offer a comparative 30 per cent higher brightness or a 30 per cent reduction in backlight consumption while operating in standard brightness mode.

The displays also utilise a backlight system that supports up to 50,000 hours of operation, which is approximately five times the lifetime of consumer TFT panels, the company added. All models in the range have an operating temperature range of -20C~70C and a storage temperature range of -30C~80C, and most share a common interface that permits interchangeability of different sizes.

Advanced frame design technology and extra-bright, slim-lined LED backlights are adopted by the displays to offer narrower frames and slimmer construction than conventional TFT modules with CCFL backlights. The sunlight-readable TFT displays can be further enhanced through Densitron's engineering design service, which offers options on integrating standard or custom display modules with PCB, plastics, keypads and/or touch overlays.
