Elesa Paper Offers Vibration-Damping Guidance

Elesa has released a white paper outlining selection criteria and guidance notes for vibration-damping levelling elements. Elesa (UK) managing director Nigel Pritchett describes the needs of personnel and equipment, definitions of 'active isolation' and 'passive isolation', together with other technical terminology. Selection graphs describe the characteristic inter-relationships between equipment and damping elements.

These include system vibration characteristics, static load/vibration-damping disk deflection and a triple-axis nomograph enabling choice of suitable vibration damping element. The white paper is available by clicking the link on the right-hand side of this page.
