Environmentally Friendly Air Conditioning
Cosaf's Breezair evaporative-cooling system is 80 per cent more energy efficient than standard air conditioning, as it operates on 100 per cent fresh air, without using harmful refrigerant gasses. It provides a controlled supply of fresh, cooled air with minimal noise and low energy consumption. A recent example of such a project has just been completed for global personal-care giant PZ Cussons, at a state-of-the-art production facility in Manchester.
PZ Cussons needed a solution to its overheating production areas and summer-time solar gain, so it tasked Cosaf to design, supply and install a low-energy, low-carbon cooling system to eradicate an uncomfortable staff working environment. Cosaf, which has a head office based in Leigh, was selected for the project after demonstrating an exceptional level of excellence in the design application, project management and installation of a small-phase tender procedure formulated by PZ Cussons.
Having received a commendation for manufacturing quality, the Breezair system, which is exclusive to Cosaf, more than surpassed the requirements and was deemed far superior to products and methods tendered by the competition.
