Integrated Power Systems For Systems Designers

Martek Power Abbott has announced an expanded capability to repackage its modular off-the-shelf units into fully integrated power systems. Building on a comprehensive line of standard power converters, this capability offers system designers flexible solutions for medium or small-volume production runs. The line is derived from existing industrial-grade and military-qualified AC to DC, DC to DC and DC to AC converters that are reconfigured and repackaged to meet specific customer needs.

A variety of inputs can be accommodated, including DC from 9 to 400V DC and AC from 85 to 265V AC single or three-phase 47-440Hz. Outputs can range from 2.0 to 400V DC, as well as pure sine wave 27 to 220V AC to 1,600Hz. All outputs can be fully isolated if required and a number of protection features, such as current limit, over-voltage and over-temperature protection, are available.

Built-in test, TTL level-control signals and various interface options are also provided. These modular power supplies are available in industrial and military grades. The military-grade product undergoes 100 per cent environmental screening. All modules meet Mil-Std-810 for vibration, shock, acceleration and altitude. Filter options are available for compliance to Mil-Std-461D.
