MMP Releases D22-376H-24V GP52-195 BR-005 IP54 DC

Midwest Motion Products has released the MMP D22-376H-24V GP52-195 BR-005 IP54 DC gearmotor/brake. The fully reversible gearmotor is equipped with an integrally mounted failsafe holding brake, which also operates with a 24V DC input, while consuming just 375mA of current. The brake is mounted to the rear of the motor with a gasket and is totally enclosed, creating an IP-54 sealed assembly, suitable for use in many harsh environments.

This design features a high efficiency planetary gearing, high-output torque to size-and-weight ratio, low speed and low noise, in a compact, lightweight 24V DC gearmotor. Typical uses for this 24V DC gearmotor include alternative energy equipment, including wind and solar, linear actuators, automotive accessories, autonomous vehicles, UGVs, UUVs, material handling equipment, moving target equipment, rotating signage, mobility and accessibility equipment, and battery-powered electric utility vehicles of all kinds.

This unit can develop its full continuous-output torque of 214in/lbs at 10.3rpm (443in/lbs peak) while consuming just 1.75A of current. That translates to a long-life battery charge, quiet operation and lower-cost drive electronics, to mention just a few of the many benefits available.
