Syfor Sample Kits For High Q Chip Capacitors

Syfer Technology has developed a range of sample kits for its range of High Q chip capacitors for circuit designs in the telecom infrastructure industry, in broadcast power amplifiers and more. The chip capacitors will also aid new circuit designs in RF power circuits, filtering, diplexers and antenna matching applications.

The standard kits cover the most common sizes and capacitance values, as in the 0402 size with 24 capacitance values from 0.1pF to 33pF. Other chip sizes included in the kits are 0505, 0603, 0805 and 1111. Other capacitor sizes or values can be requested, as well as a change of termination to Flexicap, Syfer's solution to reducing the possibility of mechanical cracking.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
