Vegadif 65 Provides Flow-Pressure Measurements

Vega's Vegadif 65 differential pressure transmitter provides reliable measured values in flow, density and interface applications. It comes with a metallic, piezoresistive measuring cell and has a pressure range of 10mbar to 40 bar. The Vegadif 65, like the IP 68 version, includes remote electronics for deployment areas that are very wet, humid or poorly accessible, or where the display can be read more easily without having to use capillaries.

The instrument offers a range of housings in plastic, aluminium and stainless steel, and in single- or double-chamber formats to optimise adaptation to customer requirements. A range of process connections and chemical seals in a variety of materials is available. Isolating systems can be installed via the scaled-down process fitting assembly, along with various diaphragm materials such as Monel or Tantalum. Process temperatures of -40 to 400C and static process pressures up to 420bar can be accommodated.

With its 4-20mA/Hart, Profibus PA and Foundation Fieldbus signal outputs, Vegadif 65 can be integrated into standard control systems. Setup and commissioning is carried out via the Plicscom module or with a PC using Pactware adjustment software and other commercially available tools such as PDM, AMS or field communicators.
