Elscint Produces Model for Steel-Tube Feeding

Elscint Automation recently manufactured a bowl feeder for the feeding of steel tubes of various sizes. There were a total of six tubes. Some of the tubes had a diameter that was more than the length, while some had a diameter that was less than the length. The orientation required was 'standing' for one machine, while for another it was 'rolling'.

A linear vibratory track was provided in case of the standing orientation, while in case of rolling a gravity chute was provided. These bowl feeders were supplied along with stands, level controls and auto-switch-off mechanisms wherein once the chute or the linear track is full, the vibrator was switched off.

The model produced was a Elscint vibratory bowl feeder model 400 with a cast-aluminum bowl. The bowls were coated with Elscinthane PU coatings and the tooling was manufactured in stainless steel.
