Flir Systems Announces Thermal Imaging Roadshow

Flir Systems has announced that its 'Explore the Thermal Dimension' roadshow is set to take place during April and May 2011 in locations across the UK and Ireland. The tour is aimed at those interested in the time savings and efficiency gains that thermal imaging can bring to building, electro-mechanical and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system inspection. The half-day sessions will cover infrared principles and the tasks into which the versatile technology can be applied.

Thermal imaging can be used to quickly scan a structure or system to show thermal anomalies that may indicate fault, energy loss and potential failure. At the events, delegates will have the opportunity to try out all the models in Flir's extended range of thermal imaging cameras and reporting software. This range includes the low-price Flir i3 and the Flir E-series, which combines high visual and thermal resolution with greater wireless functionality.

With the exception of the afternoon seminar in Dublin, all events begin at 09:30 and finish at 12:00. The programme is confirmed as follows: 5 April, Cardiff; 6 April, Newport Pagnell; 7 April, north London; 12 April, East Kilbride; 13 April, Edinburgh; 14 April, Newcastle; 20 April, Belfast; 27 April, Dublin; 3 May, Wakefield; 4 May, West Midlands; 5 May, Stoke on Trent.
