KAC Showcases Call-Point Products at Firex 2011

Call-point manufacturer KAC Alarms is to showcase key developments for fire systems integrators and installers at International Firex 2011 on 16-19 May at the NEC in Birmingham. The company will use Firex to introduce its newly expanded range of products to cater for specialist applications. This includes a new version of the MCP range of break glass, push button and resettable indoor call points, which conforms to the requirements of EN12101-9 for smoke vent control applications.

Other products include MED-approved call points for marine environments and products that operate at 230VAC mains voltage. The company will also highlight the IP67 sealed WCP, which is suitable for installation in harsh environments and an Atex-approved intrinsically safe WCP. KAC will also launch a modular range of addressable Audible Visual warning devices at the event. The range includes a common base across AV and detectors and the latest System Sensor digital Advanced Protocol, designed to reduce installation time and costs.
