Map-Pak O2 Analyser Designed for Food Industry

AGC Instruments has announced the addition of the Map-Pak O2 to its product line of modified atmosphere packaging analysers. Designed specifically for the food industry, the Map-Pak O2 measures the oxygen content within gas-flushed food packages.

The measurement range is from 0 per cent to 100 per cent with accuracy of 0.1 per cent. The lightweight portable analyser has a variety of features and is easy to use, according to AGC. Sample measurements and results are achieved quickly and the operator can modify various features of the analyser to best suit his or her requirements.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
