Seminar Highlights How to Improve Process Safety

A seminar entitled Process Safety: Avoiding Major Disasters, will be held on 25 October, 2011, at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, London. According to the institution, industry thinking in the effective management of major hazards has moved on significantly, with stakeholders becoming less tolerant of risk. This seminar will enable businesses to understand ways they can develop a 'safety' culture and manage major accident risk more effectively.

The conference is designed to provide attendants with awareness of 'process safety' as a developing concept and an understanding of cultural issues in achieving strong process-safety-focussed operations. Attendance is recommended for engineering managers, technical engineers, senior managers, heads of safety in the oil, gas and chemical, process, power, offshore, safety and aerospace.
