Sensor Device for Liquid Temperature Monitoring

Status Instruments has launched an instrument that features an integrated temperature sensor and a transmitter housed together in a 316 stainless steel body for liquid temperature monitoring. With a programmable temperature range of any value between -50C and +200C (minimum span 25C), the STA206 sensor and integrated transmitter is suitable for general industrial applications. PC configuration allows the user to select the range, units and burnout direction, without the need for calibration equipment.

Configuration is performed quickly using Status's USB-port-driven configurator by simply connecting two clips to the STA206 loop terminals and following the software instructions. Calibration setup may be saved as a file on the PC for later use. The STA206 incorporates the latest digital technology to ensure accurate drift-free performance. Alternatively, the desired range can be specified at the time of order, removing the need for user configuration. If the range is not specified, the transmitter will be shipped with the default range of 0-100C. The STA206 is available in three standard immersion lengths of 50mm, 100mm and 150mm with a 0.5in BSP process connection.
