Square Flange Bearings for Conveyor Construction

JW Winco is now offering the AN 7870.1 series of stainless steel square flange bearings as part of its new complete line of tube connection and conveyor components. The metric-sized, RoHS-compliant bearings incorporate a flanged housing and double-sealed through-hole ball bearing made of stainless steel. Flange bearings are typically used to support a rotating shaft or tube as part of a conveyor construction. The company also offers other types of flange and pillow block bearings.

In addition, JW Winco provides a selection of inch- and metric-size adjustable levers; cabinet U-handles; plastic and steel hinges and locking mechanisms; revolving and retractable handles; hand wheels; hand cranks; tube connection and conveyor components; levelling mounts; hand knobs; spring, ball and indexing plungers; jig, fixture and fastening components; retaining magnet assemblies; toggle clamps; metric casters and wheels; universal joints; oil sight glasses; and metric tools. When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
