Sustainability Services for Automotive Companies

Intertek will showcase a range of sustainability services for the German automotive industry during the Polymers in Automotive Engineering conference in Mannheim on 6-7 April. The company's advanced materials specialists will encourage the automotive industry to develop and incorporate lightweight materials that can be easily processed, providing enhanced component performance while achieving environmental benefits.

Intertek, which will be found in Booth 87, claims it will help companies to monitor and improve the way they use materials. Its Think Green Initiative (TGI), for instance, evaluates and improves factory environmental performance. Sustainability specialists research low-cost integrated solutions, customised to provide environmental and health and safety services covering the entire lifecycle of manufactured products. Intertek's lifecycle assessment tools measure the environmental impact of a product through its entire life, providing independent benchmarking for clients.
