RA Rodriguez has unveiled a redesigned and restructured website that highlights the new branding for Kaydon Bearings - Kaydon Infinite Bearing Solutions. Within each standard product range, the company offers a wide selection of product types, sizes, materials and options. It can fulfil order requirements from one-offs to many thousands.

The branding also incorporates Reali-Slim, Ultra-Slim and all custom bearings and assemblies, which are available in a variety of materials, separator options, cross-sections, internal fit-up choices, lubricants, corrosion-resistant options and contact angles. The main aim of the redesigned Kaydon Bearings website is to provide more information via an easy-to-navigate structure.

It features an improved search function, more in-depth product and market information as well as drawings, specifications and downloads.

FUSE SIZING CONSIDERATIONS FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY MOTORS

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
