Wire-to-Wire Feedthroughs Solve Signal-Loss Issues

Wire-to-wire feedthroughs from Douglas Electrical are designed for applications such as thermocouple sensors where signal loss can become an issue. Providing power and/or signal transmission into and out of vacuum or pressure environment is simplified with the fully harnessed wire-to-wire feedthroughs. A continuous wire feedthrough without the need for connectors can solve many signal-loss challenges, according to the company.

For applications requiring shielded conductors, the ability to carry the shielding uninterrupted through the feedthrough preserves attenuation. Design engineers can specify the type and mix of conductors and feedthroughs, as well as custom terminal requirements, as needed. Douglas wire-to-wire feedthroughs can withstand pressure up to 15,000psi and temperatures ranging from cryogenic to more than 350F.
